Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization utilizing Dynamic Extension Technique

Learn popular manual techniques of IASTM utilizing inexpensive equipment while taking your soft tissue treatments to the next level with Dynamic Extension and IASTM.
No CE hours are given unless attending “Live”.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a treatment which enables clinicians to efficiently locate and treat individuals diagnosed with soft tissue dysfunction. The purpose of which is to break down scar tissue and adhesions that are causing multi-layered soft tissue restriction and adversely affecting the dynamic function of the underlying muscles, tendons, fascia and ligaments. IASTM is performed with ergonomically designed instruments that detect and treat fascial restrictions, encourage rapid localization and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis, chronic inflammation, or degeneration.

In this course, we’ll explore the origins of IASTM with current supporting research. Discover effective ways to utilize instrument assisted treatments into your existing practice. We’ll also discuss how to feel more comfortable while using an instrument instead of just using your hands. The use of IASTM instruments are known to be an effective modality today and with the addition of Dynamic Extension Technique your treatment of soft tissue will go to the next level which will mean increased patient satisfaction by achieving notably better outcomes with less discomfort and irritation.
